Dubai Waterfront

Another Dubai mega-project is Dubai Waterfront. It is the largest waterfront development in the world. This stunning development is comprised of islands and canals and studded with luxury homes and hotels. It will be the new home of approx. 750,000 people. The 42 miles Arabian Canal runs through the desert, the arc-shaped artificial islands are built like a shelter around The Palm, Jebel Ali island. The surroundings are divided into commercial, residential and amenity areas.

Dubai Waterfront will be larger than Manhattan and it will consists of 266 million sqare feet of water and land developments.

Dubai WaterfrontInternational architects, planners and urban developers have been developing this gigantic project. Its the last part of Dubais’s seashore and next to the border of Abu-Dhabi.

Dubai Waterfront will become the most luxurious, most ambitious, most visionary development project. It will have an integrated transportation system and is also located near to the airport. Dubai Waterfront is open to foreign investors. The first private properties were sold for 3.6 billion dollars.

The exact completion date is unknown.
