Gold Souk

The Gold Souk in the district of Old Deira in the heart of Dubai. More than 300 jewelleries are waiting for their visitors. All gold jewelry you’ve ever dreamt of can be found there - rings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, diamonds, sapphires, emeralds…

At Dubai the price for gold jewelry is cheaper than in most other places of the world. 20% to 50% discounts compared to the price at home are quite normal.

Gold SoukBargaining for the price is a must. Although it may be a bit unusual at the beginning, you get used to it pretty fast and in the end you’ll love to bargain for your favorite piece.

The biggest problem you’ll face is to decide which piece you should buy. Although credit card are accepted, we recommend to pay in cash in Dirhams, because you’ll get an even better price.

The best time to visit the Gold Souk is the afternoon. Next to the Gold Souk is the Spice Souk which also worth a visit. You’ll surely need at least two hours for a visit of the Gold Souk alone, three hours minimum if you visit the Spice Souk as well.
